Sigur Ros at the Hollywood Bowl
You know that feeling you get when you start to suspect that you are seeing and hearing something special, something epic? That happened last night at the Hollywood Bowl as Sigur Ros completely defied my expectations. As the Santa Ana winds blew warmly through the hills, Sigur Ros created a musical soundscape that was relentlessly beautiful, sad, and inspiring all at once. Not familiar with their work beforehand, they have at least one more fan. Bravo.
